Terms and Conditions
1. Scope
These terms apply to the use of the MDInform platform, operated by R. R. ("the provider"). By registering, you accept these terms.
2. Description of services
MDInform is a research aid that searches publicly available scientific literature and produces AI-assisted summaries, answers and reports. The service is aimed at medical professionals and serves information purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice and must not be used for treatment decisions (see disclaimer).
3. Registration and account
An account is required. You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential. An account is non-transferable.
4. Plans and payment
There is a free plan and paid subscriptions. Prices are shown during checkout and include statutory taxes where applicable. Paid subscriptions are processed via PayPal and renew automatically for the respective term unless cancelled. Credit card payment is currently in a test phase and not yet active.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel a subscription at any time to the end of the current billing period. After expiry, the account is downgraded to the free plan. The provider may terminate the usage relationship appropriately in case of breaches of these terms.
6. User obligations
You agree not to misuse the service, not to perform automated bulk queries, and not to enter any personal or patient-related data into AI requests.
7. Availability
The provider aims for high availability but does not owe uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, third-party disruptions or force majeure may lead to limitations.
8. Liability
The separate medical disclaimer applies. Otherwise, the provider is liable without limitation only for intent and gross negligence and for damage to life, body or health. For ordinary negligence, liability is limited to typical, foreseeable damages.
9. Changes to the terms
The provider may change these terms with effect for the future and will inform users in good time. If you do not object within a reasonable period, the changes are deemed accepted.
10. Final provisions
German law applies. Should individual provisions be invalid, the remainder of the contract remains effective.
